Why Two Approaches?

The development of materials for a modeling biology course resulted in two approaches: one for students in grades 9-10 taking a biology-first course and another for students in grades 11-12 taking a biology-last course.  The latter builds on the chemistry content knowledge students would have acquired in an earlier course.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space][mk_image src=”https://dev2.modelinginstruction.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/bio-1.png” image_size=”medium” link=”https://dev2.modelinginstruction.org/what-we-produce/coherent-curriculum/biology-stories-first/”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1706889149231{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1708021796946{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Click on the image above to view a printable, graphic representation of the Biology First story line
